Maser Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller – VHFO Digital Mini
 
Maser VHFO Digital Mini Model is a Microcontroller based Digital Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller. These are electronic transmitters of high frequency sound waves (well above 20 Khz frequency) which is the upper limit of hearing range of the human ear. They emit intensive sound of high decibel levels (sound pressure) which are audible and painful for rodents but inaudible and harmless to humans. The acoustically hostile environment created by Maser Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller –VHFO Digital Mini Model induces auditory stress in rodents, thereby forcing them to leave the area being protected by ultrasound. They do not get killed.
 
SALIENT FEATURES
  • Can drive upto 10 transducers.
  • Has 2 frequency bands of operation which are pre tuned for 100 different frequencies.
    Band A:  Ranges from 20 Khz to 50 Khz and
    Band B:  Ranges from 30 Khz to 60 Khz
    The system automatically switches between these 2 frequency bands.
  • Can be interfaced with any of our 4 transducer types i.e VHFO, MISTE, STREAME and TORRANT.
THE SYSTEM
  • Maser VHFO Digital Mini is a system of one master controller and accessories that include 10 nos. of transducers.
  • The Maser VHFO Digital Mini model should be plugged in to a 230 volts standard wall outlet/UPS power supply. It needs to be ON 24 hours a day.
  • The green light (LED) will be blinking continuously to indicate that the unit is working.
  • The master controller is installed in the main control/server room and the additional transducers in the problematic areas i.e. above false ceiling, below false ceiling and below false flooring.
  • The Maser VHFO Digital Mini controller can be interfaced with 4 different types of transducers and the area coverage w.r.t to the transducers is mentioned below:
    • VHFO Transducer:
      Each transducer covers an open area of 300sq.ft.But if installed in the false ceilings or false floorings, it will cover an approximate area of 150sq.ft.
    • MISTE Transducer:
      Each transducer covers an open area of 360sq.ft.But if installed in the false ceilings or false floorings, it will cover an approximate area of 180sq.ft.
    • STREAME Transducer:
      Each transducer covers an open area of 400 sq.ft.  But if installed in the false ceilings or false floorings, it will cover an approximate area of 200sq.ft.
    • TORRANT Transducer:
      Each transducer covers an open area of 500 sq.ft.  But if installed in the false ceilings or false floorings, it will cover an approximate area of 250sq.ft.
  • The transducers can be tested on an audible range with the help of a test switch.

The machine Maser Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller –VHFO Digital Mini is guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase by the user, against any defects in material or workmanship

Procedure for Installing Maser VHFO Digital Mini
  1. Select a location for Maser Controller in the problematic area.Connect it to a 230 VAC supply.Check for proper earthing before connecting the controller.
  2. The transducers have to be fixed at a height of 10 to 12 feet from the ground level, in the main room, and the distance between the transducers should be maximum 20 feet.
  3. Install the transducers as per the markings on your floor plan.
  4. The transducer comprises of 2 parts, Pry open the bottom lid of the transducer to connect the cables with the help of screws provided.The bottom lid of the transducer is to be fixed to the wall/ceiling/flooring and the top part of the transducer is to be press fitted to the bottom lid.
  5. The transducers have to be looped and the cables need to be encased in a PVC/GI conduit pipe.
  6. Continuity test to be done with the help of the test swtich provided in the front panel of the system.
  7. All conduiting to be done aesthetically.
